Our commitment

Castle Build aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and supports the goals of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

What we have built in

• A skip link to jump straight to the main content
• Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate the page
• Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and labels for icon-only buttons
• Form fields with real labels, clear error messages and announced status updates
• Colour contrast checked against the AA threshold
• Tap targets sized for comfortable use on phones
• Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system
• Hero video sound can be muted at any time with a clearly labelled on-screen button
